THE WEEKLY EDIT
Sounds Fun: Online French Pastry School
In the theme of forward motion, this online French pastry school sounds fun! Anyone game to do it with me? It starts September 21.
Using: Happy Endings Nourishing Balm
Violet Grey sent their Best of Beauty box, which included Sam McKnight’s Happy Endings Nourishing Balm, and it’s become my go-to. I apply it to the ends of my damp hair before air drying to define soft texture. It’s not greasy or piecey and doesn’t weigh my hair down—it’s just right. It’s also great for calming flyaways.
Doing: Micro-decluttering
One 15 minute micro-decluttering project a day is my goal! Think 10-15 minutes dedicated to one specific area like the shoes by the backdoor, belts, makeup bag, toys, etc. Easy and doable small wins with great satisfaction.
Wellness: Weighted Vest
One of my main forms of movement right now is walking, and in an effort to increase my cardio and support muscle mass and bone health, I’m trying to walk in a weighted vest. Not every walk, just once a day. I’ll keep you posted on my thoughts.
Launched: SIDIA Soaked
SIDIA launched a body cream with hyaluronic acid and rambutan which sounds heavenly! And a body wash to pair with it. Yum!
Shopping: Ref, The Frame Sale & a Cute Kids Barn Jacket
I ordered these $18 denim barn jackets for the girls and they’re so cute! Meanwhile, Frame is 25% off site-wide (I love my Barrel’s for fall and my Le Slim Palazzo’s for something super flattering). Also, have you shopped Ref lately? Be careful because it’s realllly good right now - from this simple top to this chic dress, good suede bags and flats…yowww!

ALRIGHT, LET’S GET INTO IT
Higher Gear
School is under way, and I don’t know about you, but this time of year often feels like a reset for me too. Our life slips back into routine; I have more quiet time around the house to think about things other than children, and the final stretch of the year feels like an opportunity—a last chance to shift into high gear, accomplish goals set at the beginning of the year, and work toward forward motion. To turn up the heat and give it everything you’ve got, going from not medaling to passing the pack, steadily pacing the runner in 3rd, gracefully leaving 2nd in the dust, and then, ahhh, just a little more gas… and she’s done it, ladies and gentlemen! Olympic gold! Falls to the ground and cries—oh, what a feeling!
