Like the cold air that seeps through your parents’ old thin window panes, the year's end has crept in. We knew it was coming, yet somehow, despite the autumn leaves reminding us of what was next, it’s still a bit startling. And with the year's end comes the good old tradition of writing resolutions. Classic lists of goals, wants, or desires like making X amount of money, drinking more water/less alcohol, volunteering more, traveling, working, calling your loved ones, etc. And while I’m all for goals and lists, I wanted to put something out there before the new year writing exercises that may help shape your goals. Something that the answers to can act as your compass. And that something is answering two simple questions:
