Great Meal: Bar Le CƓte
Bar Le CĆ“te is always a favorite in Los Olivos. The vibe, the chips and caviar, the wine selection, the local Finley salad, the crispy skin branzino, and the homemade ice cream are all incredible! Itās a great spot for lunch or dinnerā10/10 recommend. Just a heads-up, though: a reservation is required.
Shopping: Early Black Friday
There are so many crazy good sales, itās overwhelming! Some of note:
Away is 25% off everything (their biggest sale of the year)! A great time to scoop up that carry-on or large suitcase.
Jenni Kayne is 25% off sitewide. Cashmere, bags, slippers, oh my!
Boll & Branch is 25% off sitewide with code CYBER25. The classic white signature hemmed sheets and duvet are forever on our bed. And I use these hand towels in a dark color to wash my face at night (to spare my white towels).
Hill House is 30% off sitewide. I really love their bows for the holidays.
DƩhanche is 20% off orders 200+ and 25% off 300+. My favorite belts: Hollyhock in silver and gold for everyday casual, Tetra for something elevated and Jeanne for a classic.
Khaiteās private sale is live. And itās reallly good if youāve been waiting to splurge.
Vince is 25% off sitewide. Iām feeling a red monochrome holiday moment.
COās seasonal sale is up to 40% off. Double breasted blazer, anyone?
ALRIGHT, LETāS GET INTO IT:
Self-Care Power Hour
Before I had children, my wellness routine was very involved. Self-indulgent daily, weekly and monthly rituals filled my time as time wasn't divided by other humans. It was quite glorious and luxurious, but to be honest, a life solely centered around my wellness, social and work life began to feel unfulfilling. I desired something biggerābigger than myselfāand this was one of the many reasons I felt ready to turn the page and open the family chapter.Ā
Once I had my first child, the word wellness began evolving. It was less about doing and experimenting (I had an entire YouTube show dedicated to trying different wellness trendsā¦v-steam, anyone?) with all the things and more than ever it was about what I gained from the rituals. A more rested mind from meditating during the sleepless newborn nights, for example, and prioritizing alone time as Iād lost my solitude.Ā Ā
