the necklace girls in la are wearing, protein foam at starbucks, snack plate combos, pamela anderson's gardening tips and so much more!
Hiii! How are you this week? I was in LA and had every minute scheduled between work, appointments, friends and family. A very packed but productive and fulfilling couple of days. There’s a lot of LA-ness to report on but I think I’ll save it for the next 7 Things? Feels right! I can tell you this though, every other girl was wearing a necklace with something silver and round-ish dangling from it. Both long, specifically on black cords or thinner silver chains, and when it came to short, this bean. Also everywhere? This $25 bag in cream.
The Weekly Edit:

Phew!

The duality of my intense LA life and my quiet SYV life taught me the importance of finding the right kind of busy. A personal share on what I learned after leaving the hustle...and then missing it.
This week’s 7 things: the first bikini I’ve felt good in in forever, the 8-second parenting rule that’s actually working for me, a secret shopping site, my much-needed summer car refresh (obsessed with this thing), the healthy dessert/snack we can’t stop making, the AI trend I can’t wrap my head around and a beautiful life lesson.
And to close it out, small things that feel good lately:
One flower in a glass by the sink. Right now it’s a magnolia flower from our tree.
Putting on lip gloss before answering emails.
Opening the windows in the evening and morning to let in the fresh crisp air.
Playing in the pool with my children.
Pretty snack plates for all of us. Combos lately:
-Juicy peach slices, olive oil chips, raw cashews & dark chocolate with cashew butter
-Blueberries, manchego, sliced dates filled with almond butter & pretzels
-Parmesean chunks with a drizzle of honey, green olives, grapes & apples
If you enjoyed this, would you be kind enough to give it a little heart? Have a nice week!
