The Weekly Edit
a new barneys new york tv show, road trips, summer desserts, the carolyn bessette-kennedy sandal and so much more
Hii and happy weekend! Is it just me, or does it feel like Mercury must be in retrograde? On top of tech chaos, my daughter is finishing preschool, and it’s been emotional over here. I’ll spare you the details by quickly getting into the edit before my computer gives out, or before I start to ugly cry face and wax poetic about time. I hope you had a nice (and less dramatic) week!
xx,
G
This week’s edit:
This deserves the top spot: There's going to be a new TV show about Barneys New York from the creators of Gossip Girl and The O.C.
AND ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ sequel is set for May 2026.
Consider this your sign to plan a road trip. And maybe pack this gorgeous shimmery SPF 30 oil.

This summer is all about the Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy sandal and tube dresses. I just ordered this one (also cute in summer linen) and am thinking a chunky gold necklace or good gold earrings or these bow heels or easy sandals and a raffia bag will be great with it. So easy to dress up or down.

I got the girls the cutest matching denim skirts and tops from Sézane. And for me? A cherry-red cardigan and a perfect raffia bag for summer.
My uniform this week? This midi skirt and vest. And this Left on Friday swimsuit all weekend.

Strava announced a grant program, awarding 50 moms $2,000 each to help cover childcare, travel, lodging and support to train for and participate in races this year. Because the biggest barrier between mothers and the starting line? Lack of childcare. Love that!
Two cool things in healthcare worth note:
WellTheory: a new healthtech company specializing in autoimmune diseases.
Midi Health: Midi Health announced AgeWell, a women’s longevity program which will layer bloodwork, genetic testing, DEXA scans, and full-body MRIs onto routine mammograms and Pap smears, enabling personalized prevention across heart, hormonal, brain, and muscle health, plus weight management and cancer prevention. This feels like a nice and streamlined option in a world where finding a primary doctor to help handle all this isn’t as easy as one would think.

A few product notes:
I think I finally found a non-toxic glass cleaner that doesn’t smell like vinegar. Also love their multi-purpose and floor cleaner.
There’s a hydrating lip oil with SPF 40 and the colors are gorgeous: Tuplipscreen.
goop launched a Daily Detox Foaming Cleanser which I’m giving a go.
MUTHA launched a lightweight, “melted” version of their award-winning Body Butter and it’s sooo good: Body Butter Melt.
Love this list of “summer desserts to make when you want compliments.”
Cooking my way through this viral cookbook! On deck: the little gem salad with garlicky white bean spread, smoked trout niçoise salad, grated tomato linguine and chicken milanese. Mmmmm
And to close it out, five gentle reminders I love to come back to:
You don’t have to earn your rest. You’re allowed to be tired and worthy. No productivity report required.
Routines don’t have to be rigid. Let your life breathe.
Some things just take time. Healing. Clarity. Blooming. Don’t rush the magic.
The undone things can wait. The laundry, the inbox, the call you haven’t returned, they’re not going anywhere. But that moment? It’s now or never.
Take inventory of what feels good. Then do more of that.
That’s it, that’s what I’ve got! If you enjoyed this, would you be kind enough to give it a little heart? Thank you for reading! See you back here on Tuesday for something…new!
Excited for the Barneys show!
Happy June! Love the reminders! Excited for all the tv and movie talk that is in the works. I enjoyed Sirens, but was a little let down with the final episode. And excited to get my hands on the new MUTHA product! Have an amazing week with your sweet family and thank you as always!❤️
