Thank you for this post! Love all the recommendations for the sunscreen and bags! So many beautiful and fun options. And also, what a beautiful tribute for the snake. ❤️❤️ thank you for sharing!
Thank you for sharing the two local olive oil businesses. I live in N SBCO and wasn’t familiar with either one. The only one I’ve visited is Olive and Lavender in Los Olivos. ☺️
The snake story. What a beautiful tribute and lesson to us all. Thank you so much for sharing! I know that couldn't have been easy on you or your girls so sending all the love and hugs!
P.S. Bought the Tower 28 because of your recommendation. Thanks again!
Love it ... Read it while breastfeeding my infant... Do nothing but make it cute list resonated to me, especially as I navigate this postpartum/ new mom period in my life... Anything that helps me feel back together again. The snake story was beautiful as well
Oh, that postpartum liminal space, so raw, so real, so beautiful! I’m honored the words found you there. Wishing you tiny joys, quiet moments and feeling back together again. ♥️
The snake story... OMG. What a beautiful opportunity to teach children about loss and grief. That in itself is a gift. And it sounds like your community handled it so perfectly.
Love the olive oil > wine. When I visited my sister in Sonoma County in February, we did an olive oil tasting at Goldridge Farms - https://www.goldridgeorganicfarms.com/ - that was so lovely. Of course I had to ship a few bottles home!
I loved the Arbequina in salad dressings, and the Meyer lemon is divine on roasted veg. They also ship their citrus - the mandarin-kumquats are super tasty!

As for the tasting, learned so much. Who knew there was a 4,000 year old olive tree?! https://www.forbes.com/sites/scotttravers/2025/03/23/meet-the-4000-year-old-olive-tree-that-saw-the-rise-and-fall-of-alexander-the-greats-empire-a-biologist-explains/
